Bayo Onanuga, the spokesperson for the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign committee, has insulted the embattled Godwin Emefiele over his suspension as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.
His answer came following Emefiele’s suspension on Friday evening.
Mr Folashodun Adebisi Shonubi has been appointed as the Central Bank of Nigeria’s acting Governor.
Onanuga responded to the news on his official Twitter account, writing, “Good riddance to the worst CBN Governor in History.”
Emefiele was named Governor of the top bank on June 4, 2014.
