Nigerian artist Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, better known as Joeboy, has spoken up about his experience with bankruptcy at one point in his career.

He claimed that after achieving stardom, he fell off the wagon and went bankrupt.

In a recent interview with Dose Of Society, the ‘Cubana’ singer revealed this.

“I’m one of Africa’s biggest artistes right now, but there was a time when I hit rock bottom,” he remarked. I didn’t have any money. I had to close my [bank] account since I was so broke.
