Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, has claimed that he did not want Manchester City to win the UEFA Champions League final versus Inter Milan.
According to the NGOLADITV City beat Inter 1-0 to win their first Champions League title on Saturday night in Istanbul, Turkey.
Burna Boy, the first African musician to perform in the Champions League final, spoke with Paramount+ just after the game.
He stated that he did not want City to win since he supports Manchester United.
“This was the most incredible thing,” he remarked, adding, “even though I honestly didn’t want City to win for sentimental reasons, it’s okay.”
